Jeromes is the oldest established legal firm on the Isle of Wight, with roots traceable to 1692. With offices at Newport, Shanklin and Sandown, Jeromes is a leading Island practice dedicated to providing a quality yet affordable service to all clients, priding itself on its reputation to deal with all matters efficiently and effectively.

Equity Release: What we can offer you

Once you have sought advice from your Independent Financial Adviser (IFA) and are happy with the principle of a scheme, we are here to advise you of the legal implications and to guide you through the process involved in entering into an Equity Release scheme. Our role is to help you understand the legal nature of Equity Release and to complete all the legal documentation on your behalf. We will see you in person at one of our offices, or make a visit to you at home if you would prefer. We offer a fixed fee service for equity release applications so you will know how much you need to pay us from the very outset. Adrian Whittle
Adrian - Adrian Whittle joined Jeromes on qualification in 1981 and became a partner in 1987 and subsequently a Director, following our incorporation as a limited company in 2008. Adrian has many years experience in dealing with Equity Release schemes and is based at our Sandown office.

Emma - Emma Gifford joined Jeromes in 2004 as a trainee solicitor, qualified in 2006, and became a partner in 2008. Emma specialises in all areas of property law, and has developed her expertise in Equity Release schemes over the past 5 years, and is based at our Newport office.
